Besides drinking kefir straight, you can also use kefir to mix into pancakes (in place of milk or buttermilk), make salad dressings like Ranch (yum!), and even make kefir cheese! I have been using kefir in recipes that call for milk or buttermilk and it has been working great.

So far I have used kefir in smoothies, to drink straight, made Ranch dressing, made kefir cheese and whey, used the kefir cheese like sour cream on my nachos, used the kefir whey to make lemonade for my family to drink, and more.
