Ebook: Intentional Monthly Planner (July 2019-December 2020)

As a busy stay-at-home mom, I wanted a basic monthly planner that I could use to keep track of our days.

Ebook: Intentional Summer Days

This book was born out of too many summer days slipping by and having nothing to show for it.  My desire with this ebook is to give you some fun ideas of things you can do to make your summer days more intentional. Sometimes we need just a bit of a nudge to get going and plan our days instead of letting the days slip by.  In this ebook, you will find 30 different activities that you can do with your children that relate to being intentional to rest, to read, to learn, and to grow in relationship.

Ebook Bundle: Mother Stories from the Old and New Testament

Mother Stories from the Old Testament - Click here to see sample pages! Mother Stories from the New Testament - Click here to see sample pages! These old books were originally published in the early 1900s and are filled with Old and New Testament stories. Each story is beautifully illustrated with a large picture for the children to look at while you read.  The stories are written for mothers to read aloud to their children.

Ebook: A History of the US and Its People

I am so excited to offer another great history book by Edward Eggleston! This book, originally published in 1888, is full of solid early American History. It starts with Christopher Columbus…progresses through the Revolutionary War and the Civil War, and ends in 1888. There are over 60 chapters of historical information for you and your children to enjoy, along with over 400 detailed black and white illustrations and maps throughout the book. Another bonus, is that after each chapter there are definitions of key words, study questions, and map work! Some of the chapters include fill-in-the-blank exercises for review. A complete index at the end of the book will assist you in finding anything you need in this book! This book was originally in 6″x9″ format; however, I wanted to make the print and illustrations larger so the book would be easier to read and use by you and your children. So, this book is in 8 1/2″ x 11″ format. This book would make a great American History spine to read aloud with your children…or hand it to your children to read on their own! You can purchase this book in ebook form here or through our Lulu store as a softcover version.

Ebook: Stories of Great Americans for Little Americans

Click here to see sample pages! I am so excited to offer this book for your children to read! This old history book for children, written in 1895, is written at a 2nd or 3rd Grade reading level and is packed with wonderful stories of great Americans! Your children will enjoy reading this one on their own OR it can be enjoyed as a family read-aloud. I am currently offering this book in both ebook and softcover format! I put this book together for my 8 year old son to read (he is really into reading history books) and he really wanted an actual “book” to read. So I decided to make it into a 6″ x 9″ softcover book as well as an ebook. P.S. The beautiful photograph on the front cover was taken by daughter when she was 14! _____________________________ Click here to purchase a softcover version of this book through our Lulu Storefront. This delightful book was originally published in 1899 and is currently in the public domain.  One of our desires is to put excellent, living books into the hands of families to read together and enjoy.  Our Learning With Living Books Series is a result of our effort to do just that.  We will be adding more titles to this series as time allows.  There is a wealth of excellent living books just waiting to make their way into your home! I have formatted this ebook so that is can be easily printed either single-sided or double-sided, 3-hole punched, then placed in a report folder or binder.  I personally like to print these ebooks double-sided, and then I place them in a report folder.  They don’t take up so much room that way, and they feel more like a real book when we are reading it.

Click here to see some sample pages! Welcome to the Graham Family Ministry edition of Intermediate Language Lessons – Part 2 .  Taking Emma Serl’s original text (including all the lovely graphics), I have included blank lines throughout the ebook for your child to write in the answers to questions, do copywork, write dictation, write essays, etc.  All work will be done in the workbook, so no other paper is needed.  The best part about the ebook format is that you will be able to use it with all your children. The original book by Emma Serl is divided up into three parts and is to be used for Grades 4, 5, and 6 or ages 9 through 12. Part 1 – ages 9-10 (Grade 4) – Lessons 1-100 Part 2 (this ebook) – ages 10-11 (Grade 5) – Lessons 101-195 Part 3 – ages 11-12 (Grade 6) – Lessons 196-301 Each ebook can be used on its own or as part of the series.  I have kept most of the original content and only edited in places that needed updating or clarification.  While I provided blank lines for the student to write the answers for most of the questions in the lessons (except the lessons that are specifically for discussion or narration), you can decide how much work to do orally or in writing.  I have provided a blank lined page at the end of the ebook if extra writing room is needed. REVIEW BY A HOMESCHOOL MOM: I love this edition of Emma Serl’s Intermediate Language Lessons. Emma Serl’s language arts books incorporate such a gentle approach to learning language arts and are very consistent with Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education. This ebook edition by Sheri Graham takes Ms. Serl’s works to the next level for the modern day homeschooler. There are three reasons you need to buy this edition: 1. It is two books in one. The original book and a workbook are combined in one easy to use format. The workbook is integrated into the body of the text, allowing ample room for even the largest handwriting. 2. It is complete. Ebook: Copying the Facts-Mastering Math Facts Through Copywork

Click here to see sample pages! Over the years of homeschooling, I have tried numerous ways to help my children memorize their math facts. Some have seemed to work, others have not. Using the copywork methods of Charlotte Mason, I decided to give Math copywork a try! If my children could learn writing, spelling, and grammar using copywork of “words”, why couldn’t they learn their math facts by copying the “facts”? This ebook covers all of the addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts (0-10). I decided to not include division, because in my opinion if your children have the multiplication facts memorized they will have no problem dividing. Each copywork page contains a set of facts to be copied over and over until they are mastered. Copywork allows your children to copy and see the correct answers only – which will hopefully cut down on any wrong answers being engrained in their minds. I have also included flashcards that can be used for oral testing or for review! Idea from a customer on how to use the flashcards! "I also wanted to share with you an idea that I have for the flashcards.  I am going to print them out on card stock (a different color for each type of fact), write the answer to the question on each flash card on the back of the flashcard, laminate, cut, sort them into sandwich bags, label each set with a sticky label (ei. 6 Times Table) and put in them in order.  When I want my children to practice their math facts, after they are mastered, I will tell them to take out the facts I want them to review and say the answer out loud, and then write their answer with either a dry erase or washable marker on the flashcard to further solidify the answer. I will only do this in the beginning of mastery. If they continue to easily recall the answers, I will just have them continue the flashcards without having to write the answer." - Alana Tip to save paper! "I am going to insert the copywork page, on which my child is working, into a protector page. I will have my children use dry erase markers to complete it. Then, each page may be used over and over. You just need to put one page protector at the front of your child's Math binder (if they have one), and insert the copywork page on which they are working. Saves time, paper and ink, and the dry erase markers easily erase off of the protector page!" - Alana

Ebook: Simply Cursive

Click here to see some sample pages! Softcover available on Amazon here! Welcome to Simply Cursive – Style #1 !  After the release of my Create Your Own Penmanship Pages ebook series, I had so many contact me asking for a cursive ebook.  I listened and now have completed the first in this series. So that you can see what this style looks like, I have included an image below showing each letter of the alphabet: This ebook is divided up into two main sections:  the Cursive Lessons and the Extra Practice Pages . The Cursive Lessons have been grouped together so that your child will learn similar style letters one right after the other.  After every five or so lessons is a Review lesson to reinforce what has been learned so far. Each lesson has a couple lines for your child to trace the letters, then additional lines to copy and write the letters on their own.  I also used the font with arrows so your child can easily see how to write each letter in cursive. You can do one lesson a day or divide it up over two days.  It really depends on the age of your child and their readiness to learn cursive.  As the parent, you decide what is best for your child! The Extra Practice Pages include selected Bible passages for your child to copy in cursive.  These pages can be used however you feel is most helpful, having your child write out the whole passage in one sitting or dividing it up over several days. I have also included a few lessons to practice writing numbers.  Since some choose to teach their children cursive before printing, I decided to include some numbers practice as well. How to use this ebook:   As stated above, you can do one lesson a day or divide it up and do one lesson over two days.  If you do one lesson a day plus use some of the Extra Practice Pages, your child can work through this ebook in one semester.  If you decide to take things a bit slower and do one lesson over two days plus some of the Extra Practice Pages, your child will take close to the whole year to complete it. You may wonder how I came up with my title for this series: “ Simply Cursive ”…well, I think as with many things we teach our children, we make things too complicated and complex.  I wanted to provide a cursive ebook that would be simple to use and reasonably priced (especially since it can be printed and used over and over!).  I hope you and your children enjoy it! Get your copy today!

Ebook: Learning for the "Littles" - A Preschool Notebook

PDF File  – 237 pages Click here to see sample pages! I had so much fun putting this notebook together for my younger children. I hope you and your “littles” enjoy it as well! Being a mommy of many blessings, I wanted something that would be simple for me to use with my preschool-age children. I wanted something that I (or one of my older children) and my preschooler could sit down and just read through together…curled up on the couch or chair. This notebook is the result. When Sheri first sent me this ebook, I was thrilled with it! It is an amazing 237-page workbook FILLED with everything you could want to teach your little ones. Learning for the Littles has read-aloud portions for parents (or older siblings) to share with the little ones, as well as activity and practice pages to help pre-schoolers develop their early learning skills. My favorite part was the Character Training section, which encourages character traits like obedience. Of course, my first thought was, “What about printing all those color pages?” They are beautiful, but I was a bit worried about my toner budget, truth be told. However, I have hit upon an ideal solution! I printed out the book in duplex and put each page into an individual sheet protector, then put them all in a 3-ring binder. Those supplies just cost me a few dollars at my local Wal-Mart. Now, not only is the book durable for little hands, but my littles can do the activity pages with dry-erase markers, and they are totally re-usable (for our many “littles”!). In my opinion, this wonderful book is more than worth the investment. ~ Cindy Carrier at Values Driven Family Please note that I do not claim that this is a complete preschool curriculum. I don’t really believe that much formal academics need to take place at this young age anyway. But I wanted a fun way for my “littles” to learn some basic things while nurturing close relationships within the family. This notebook is something that you will dig into together…it will be your special time with your preschooler. My son is thoroughly enjoying “his” Preschool Notebook, and I am already seeing learning taking place just from reading through it with him. I pray that you and your children will enjoy this time you have together exploring and learning. Check out the Learning for the Littles and Growing in Wisdom Bundle here!

Ebook: Child's Weekly Assignment Sheet

Editable PDF File – 7  pages (Includes Forms & Instructions) Some have asked that I explain what I have used for my children in the way of a weekly assignment sheet. In the past, I have used these assignment sheets each week, listing out their school work and chores for the whole week. Since I have such a wide range of children, these assignment sheets provided the guidance my older children needed if I was busy with the younger ones. It also motivated them to work ahead if they had the time and be diligent with their work. This little booklet includes 2 versions of the Assignment Sheet and instructions on how to use them! A Testimonial Dear Sheri, I hope you are having a blessed day in the Lord.  I have been wanting, for a while now, to tell you how much I appreciate this product I purchased from you a couple of years ago. The Child’s Weekly Assignment Sheet has been SO helpful to me and my children. I use it to not only for assignments but on the bottom section labeled Chores I also add encouraging scriptures and notes,  reminders of the week’s outside activities, trips, and classes.  I would say this little file is the most valuable asset to my home schooling.   It relieves me of so much stress and teaches both my 12 year old and 8 year old to be responsible for their own lessons.  This is the second year I have used it and we do use it weekly because I know everything would fall apart if it were not for this assignment sheet.  Plus I save them to file for records of completed assignments. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Love your products! Rebecca
